Today’s column in the Portland Press Herald is a soft, slightly cute kiss-off to still wine. I mean, sure, every once in a while, you might as well take a sip of a wine with no bubbles. But really, try not to get yourself in those situations. Instead, drink true, truly made, traditionally made sparkling wine. It need not — ought not — be Champagne.
